Timing, Injuries, and the Inability of Working as a Well Oiled Halo Machine

After purchasing a new microphone and voice recognition software I can now resume writing entries. First of All, I want to welcome everyone to the new website. I should have no problem keeping up my entries since I own the site, besides now I can talk about much more than just the Angels. I can talk about all my other favorite teams as well. With that said, let’s get back to the content of this section of the site.

Since I last wrote an entry a lot has happened, the Angels are 10 1/2 games back in the American League West, we have finally traded Brian Fuentes, I guess the Angels read my blogs, or maybe it's just wishful thinking. Torii Hunter has moved from Center Field to Right Field, along with various incarnations and reshufflings of the Angels' lineup.

I have not given up on the Angels, as a die-hard fan I will keep thinking they will make the playoffs until they are mathematically out of the playoff picture. The issue this year has been not necessarily the injuries, but the timing of those injuries, couple that with the Angels getting older instead of younger this year. Vladimir Guerrero was replaced with an aging Hideki Matsui, our bullpen has been a disaster. When the offense is clicking the bullpen does not hold the lead and win the bullpen gets it together, the offense goes cold.

In order for the Angels to make the postseason, the Texas Rangers need to have a major collapse and the Angels need to virtually become unstoppable between now and the end of the season. Given all the issues the Halos have had, it's hard to imagine a scenario where this could happen.

Thus the Angels may need to begin to look towards next season perhaps pursue Carl Crawford  along with other key free agents, keep core players in an Angels uniform such as Torii Hunter, Kendry Morales, Dan Haren , among other players.

Well  Halos' faithful, that's All for now since I haven't actually finished training the voice recognition software I do not want to confuse it too much, that's why I am mainly using simple words at least for this entry so that I don't confuse the software. I'll be back to writing more complex analysis once I finish training the software.
